I apologize for any spelling errors in this video. I tried to catch them all, but I think a few of them slipped by me. I've been operating off of three hours of sleep. Three hours of sleep + 2 hour math exam + lots of typing = errors. I'm going to go over this when I'm better rested and fix the errors, but I just wanted to get it up. And I apologize for me fumbling some of my reading. I'm just...yeah.

Message of the day: Save often and don't insult your camera...or the software you're using to convert the files.

I really miss doing the CP vlog, but a small part of me is happy that's it's over because it means more time to do other stuff. Not that the vlog took up my life :P. It just made my life a little bit harder XP.

Finals are coming soon. I can feel the stress rising up for the college students that had finals soooooooon in the house :oops: Including my own. . . But I'm living. I'm happy and bouncy.

My math score went up from 6.2 to 12.9 in almost a month and a half. :D so that's why I'm so bouncy.

Anyway, gotta go. . . school and all that :P

Alright, here it is.  I'm still sick, and the past few days have been rough, so you'll probably be able to tell how tired I am. :oops:  I only was able to fit maybe half of what I filmed into the time limit, so a second video will be coming at some point on the 29th.  For now, this will do. :-P

I realized after I had filmed it "wow, so everything I want to be in 10 years is basically what I am now, just better at it all."  Either that means I'm getting where I want to now, or I need to set better goals.  That's a question for another day.

It's been an honor and a blessing to get to do this.  Happy watching! :-)

Do I get extra points for doing this on a day when I had a house full of CPers (in the morning we had seven CPers here from three different states - Midget, Anywhere, Emerwen, Linte, and of course Mar, Telpe, and me)?  Not to mention for doing this on my 18th birthday? :-P And if I make enough excuses, will you forgive it being like an hour or two late?

I'm still sick, and I'm very tired right now, so I stumble over my words more than usual.  This was somewhat hurriedly thrown together, and it shows.  And I'll stop complaining and just let you watch it. :-P

April 16th 2009

Ok, so today didn't go so well. I stayed up late and ended up looking dead, my teacher was a pain, she didn't even get in until half an hour after she said she would, I lost my water bottle, some people hit the fire alarm because they thought it would be fun! And, on a random note, this would have been my parents 26th aniversary today. So :P, today was. . . eh.

Vlog 4/15/09

Excuse me while I go shoot something. This took forever to edit, took forever to upload. But it uploaded almost three hours ago AND DIDN'T TELL ME... I could've gone back to bed! For sleep... (Marlon Brando accent) I coulda been a contendah! I AM SOOO ticked off that this took this long. But I DID film it last night... that's a plus, right?

4/14/09 - Second Tuesday with Elraen

So, this one was REALLY hard, because my schedule is something like this on Tuesdays: get up.  Do homework for four hours.  Go to Bible class.  Come home.  Do homework for another four hours.  Go to work for an hour.  Come home.  Do homework until bed time.

That's the whole reason I chose Tuesdays in the first place. :-P  So I ended up cheating a bit to get this to a decent length.  It was still about something I've done... recently... so we'll say it counts.  You don't have to watch the last 53 seconds though, they have nothing to do with the rest of it. :-P

CleanPlace Vlog Day 2

I apologize profusely that this is up so late - I got it done and was trying to upload it last night, but YouTube wasn't accepting it, and it was past midnight and I decided sleep was more important at that point in time.

I woke up sick yesterday, the primary symptom of which has been a sore and scratchy throat, so if my voice sounds even lower than usual and if I'm not 100% coherent, that would be why.  I apologize for that, but it couldn't be helped.

Also, I was really sloppy with my audio editing.  Next time I'll spend more time on it.

Moot Posts + Vlog Musing

I don't know if you noticed, but I imported all the posts from our last two CleanPlace Moot blogs into this one. Hey, they might as well all be together! Anyway, just thought I would let you know.

I am so super excited about starting the vlogging project. I'm more excited to watch the videos of our other contributors than to do my own. Coming up with subject matter for us to talk about is fun.

I Need 4 Volunteer Vloggers

I started vlogging on my personal blog a couple weeks ago, and I have been absolutely taken in. It's a lot of fun, and there's something about being able to connect with people in that way that spurs me on.

As with most things I do, I wanted to find a way to include CPers.

In my search for inspiration, I came across an interesting YouTube channel. There were five friends contributing to the one channel, and each of them posted one vlog entry a week on a certain, assigned a weekday, to the same channel. They would respond to each other's posts and talk about their day, thoughts, etc.

{and the Cat thinks} Hmm... Our CP blog has been sadly without content for quite some time. Hmm....

This is what I propose:

Four CPers (who have permission from their parents to post public videos on the internet) would join me for one month in posting a video a week as a group project.

Video Specifications:
* Videos would be run 2-3 minutes in length, no longer.
* Videos would be posted to a YouTube channel (that we will share) on the day you are assigned (It'll be weekdays only--Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. I will do Mondays.)
* Videos will be posted on the CP Blog on the day they are posted.

Participant Requirements:
* Minimal video editing experience required, but SOME experience is necessary so we can make sure to meet the time restrictions.
* You MUST have permission from your parents to post videos of yourself on a public YouTube channel.

Here's how I imagine it will go down:

1. Four awesome people volunteer to play.

2. Participants are assigned the days that work for them (Tues-Friday).

3. On the first Monday in April, Mangy posts a vlog entry that introduces herself and the project, what we're doing, and poses a question or topic.

4. The following days, the CP vloggers each post a vlog entry that introduces themselves, responds to other videos, and answers the question/topic.

5. We do this for the entire month of April, then the project ends for those vloggers. (Unless someone wants to continue, then we can recruit more CP vloggers as needed.)

Remember, you MUST have permission from your parents to post public videos to YouTube. I am going to recommend that we turn off rating and comments to any videos we post on the channel to avoid having to respond to or hear from weirdos.

Comments on the CP blog, however, will be open to all CPers!
